Welcome to my blog!
Hello my name is Stephanie Grossauer, I’m new to this whole blogging thing so please bear with me, if you’ve got any suggestions for me please feel free to reach me at any of the outlets I’ve provided or leave a comment 😀
I’ve been looking for a reason/topic to blog about for a while, recently a friend said to me:
“What’s something you can talk about for hours?”
That’s when it hit me! I realized that the thing I know most about in the whole wide world is grief. Losing Nick has taken its toll on me, after the funeral was over I never thought I would make it to the next morning. After a while it started to get a little easier so I started to look for material to read. I found very little outside support and a shortage of books on Pregnancy and Infant Loss. Although this is primarily targeted to Pregnancy and Infant Loss a lot of the content will be useful for anyone grieving the loss of any loved one.
I am lucky that I have good family support in dealing with Nick’s death, but I am aware that there are some people out there that have nothing or no one to turn to in their greatest time of need. So I have decided to use my own personal knowledge combined from what I have learned over the months and help others in the process.
If you have a story you would like to add send it to email@example.com and I will add it. Any questions, comments or feedback can be placed at http://wp.me/PVrDn-C :).
A good quote I found:
“I’ve learned that I am much, stronger than I ever gave myself credit for. I’ve learned patience, because grief does not go away just because you want it to. And I’ve learned that helping other people is sometimes the best help I can give myself.”
